WherePup: a private dog scrapbook
A private digital scrapbook for documenting life with your dog without turning it into another social feed.
A dog journal built around memories
WherePup is a product I’m developing for the moments that are easy to photograph and hard to find again. A camera roll records a lot, but it does not necessarily tell the story of life with a dog: the periods, routines and small moments that become meaningful together.
The idea is a private digital scrapbook organised around those memories. Private journaling and shared memories are the focus, rather than turning documentation into another public feed.
Why I’m building it
This project sits at the intersection of memory, personal data and technology. I’m exploring how a calmer way of keeping a dog’s story might help people make sense of what they have already documented, without organising the experience around likes or public posting.
WherePup is still in development. This page describes the direction of the project, rather than a finished set of features or a product launch.
Where the project is now
In development, with a focus on private journaling, shared memories and a calmer alternative to social-first pet apps.
